Martha Pickles

Martha was born in 1828 in Bingley and her baptism took place on August 24th, 1828 at All Saints (Bingley).¹²

Birth Notes

Martha's father was Michael Pickles and her mother was Martha Cowburn. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Pickles and Mary Walsh. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, William, Thomas, Michael, Mary, Betty, Ann and Mary. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
