Thomas was born in August 1778 in Acton by Nantwich and his baptism took place there on August 16th, 1778.1  Thomas' father was Charles Perrin and his mother was Mary Brereton.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Brereton and Sarah Shone. He had a sister named Margaret.  He was the older of the two children.
