Margaret was born in October 1780 in Acton by Nantwich and her baptism took place there on October 8th, 1780.1  Margaret's father was Charles Perrin and her mother was Mary Brereton.  Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Brereton and Sarah Shone. She had a brother named Thomas.  She was the younger of the two children.
