William was born on August 12th, 1836 in Dukinfield.1  William's father was James Morris and his mother was Mary Butterworth. He had two brothers and a sister, named Charles, Robert and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 55 on August 28th, 1891 in Missouri (MO).
