Edna was born in 1879 in Utah (UT).1  Edna's father was Charles Morris and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Scriggins.  Her paternal grandparents were James Morris and Mary Butterworth. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Charles, Chelisia, Mona, Nellie and Maggie.  She was the youngest of the seven known children.
