Martha Ellen Moore

Martha was born on June 13th, 1856 in Almondbury and her baptism took place on October 24th, 1858 in Pontefract.^1 2

Martha's father was James Moore and her mother was Elizabeth (Eliza) Cheesbrough.  Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Moore and Frances (Fanny); her maternal grandparents were Joseph Cheesbrough and Martha Mountain. She had a brother and a sister, named Abraham and Fanny.  She was the oldest of the three known children.  She died at the age of 18 in June 1874 in Delph.  She was buried on June 25th, 1874 in Saddleworth.³
