Edith's father was George Millington and her mother was Mary Ann Shone. Her paternal grandparents were William Millington and Jane Williams. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Frederick, Herbert, Susannah and Beatrice. She died on May 2nd, 1978. She was buried in Pentrobin.
