William Miller 
William was born in 1859 in Witton, St Helen.1 William's father was William Miller and his mother was Elizabeth Winstanley. His paternal grandparents were James Miller and Susannah (Susan) Poole; his maternal grandparents were John Winstanley and Martha Plumb. He had two brothers and five sisters, named George, James, Martha, Susan, Constance, Margaret and Martha. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
