In 1841, Ellen (8) was with her parents James and Ellen Mellor at Derby Street, Bolton.
In 1853, Ellen Mellor, daughter of James "Mather" married Joseph Winstanley at St Peter's, Bolton. This must be a transcription error, although her brother James Mellor was a witness.
In 1871, Ellen Winstanley (39, Sister, Wid) was at 24 Bamber Street, West Bolton with brother James and Ellen Mellor (both 42) and her blind mother Ellen Mellor (79) and her two children.
