William Mather

William was born in August 1842 in Radcliffe and his baptism took place on September 18th, 1842 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

William's father was John Mather and his mother was Hannah (Ann) Dearden. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and <unknown>. He had a brother and two sisters, named William, William and Mary. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named George and Sarah. He died at the age of 1 in October 1843 in Pilkington. He was buried on October 21st, 1843 at Christ Church, Ainsworth.²
