Sarah was born in February 1849 in Royton.1  Sarah's father was Job Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Slater. She had a brother named John.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died at 1 months old in March 1849 in Royston.  Her burial was on March 8th, 1849 in Royton.2
