Richard Mather

Richard was born in October 1806 in Worsley and his baptism took place on August 10th, 1806 at St. Peter (Swinton) conducted by minister William Nuttall.¹

Richard's father was John Mather and his mother was Elizabeth Bowker. He had a brother and a sister, named Samuel and Emma.  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 49 in May 1856 in Worsley.  He was buried on May 27th, 1856 at St. Peter (Swinton).¹
