Rachel's father was Roland Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Burrows. She had a brother and a sister, named William and Hannah.  She was the second oldest of the three known children.  She died at the age of 24 in April 1740 in Edensor.  She was buried on April 15th, 1740 in Edensor.²
