John Mather

John was born in September 1791 in Warrington and his baptism took place on September 11th, 1791 at St. Elphin (Warrington).¹

John's father was Joseph Mather and his mother was Mary Morris. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Ellen Blinstone. He had a brother named Thomas. He was the younger of the two children.

General Notes
- In 1825 John was living at Crossley Streeet (where his brother Thomas lived before he died). Hannah, Samuel and Joseph (triplets) were all born there.
  
  In 1826, Mary, daughter of John and Mary from Poulton was baptised at Warrington. All 4 births show John as a Husbandman.
