John Mather

John was born about 1777. John's father was James Mather and his mother was Hannah Howarth. His paternal grandparents were John (Old Hatter) Mather and Martha Mather; his maternal grandparents were John Howarth and Hannah. He had a brother and a sister, named Thomas and Mary. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James, Henry, Mary, Martha and Alice. He died in April 1778 in Bolton. His burial was on April 23rd, 1778 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹
