James Sewell Mather

James was born in 1874 in Illinois (IL).¹ James' father was James Sewell Mather and his mother was Agnes Brown. His paternal grandparents were Rev Robert Cotton Mather and Elizabeth Sewell. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, Charles and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the four children.
