Ellen Ruth Mather

Ellen was born on October 13th, 1904 in Brisbane.¹ Ellen's father was John Mather and her mother was Eliza Harriet Wellard. Her paternal grandparents were Ralph Mather and Joanna Grey. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Thomas, George, Samuel, Hilda, Eva, Sarah and Ivy. She had an adopted brother named Charles. She died at the age of 80 on October 4th, 1985 in Brisbane.¹

- Ellen Ruth married Frederick J Hoskins (1907-1969). They had two sons Robert & Peter.
