Elizabeth was born on March 19th, 1792 in Deane and her baptism took place on April 22nd, 1792 at Bank Street Unitarian.1  Elizabeth's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Mary Haslam.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Mary Yates. She had two sisters named Mary and Betty.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 79 on April 11th, 1871 in Manchester.2

‌Elizabeth and John were married in a religious ceremony on December 25th, 1808 at Manchester Cathedral.3  The family line is yet to be completed.
