Charlotte Mather (1811-1855) may have known Richard Mather, but was NOT his daughter. She was probably the illegitimate daughter of Betty Mather
Another Charlotte b.1821 was a widow of John Mather from Wigan. This was Charlotte Gaskill who married John Mather at Wigan in 1836. John died and 8 May 1859, Charlotte Gaskill (wid) married William Platt b.1810 an umberella manufacturer at Little Bolton All Saints. They were at 5 Blackburn Road, Little Bolton in 1861.
In 1841, Charlotte (29), was as a female servant (FS) at Sand Holes, Blackburn Street, Sharples. Richard Mather was the only Mather family in Sharples in 1841.
