Richard Lomax

Richard was born in 1764 in Breightmet and his baptism took place on July 22nd, 1764 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

  Richard, son of James & "      " Lomax of Breightmet

Richard's father was James Lomax and his mother was Mary Crompton. He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Peggy, Mary and Alice. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 55 in August 1819 in Breightmet. His burial was on August 30th, 1819 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²

  1 Nov 1789, Richard may have married Mary Lomax, both old Oldham, one month after Jane was baptised at St Peter's Bolton. However the 1887 Bolton marriage to Mary Kenyon is more likely.
