John Lomax

John was born on November 5th, 1774 in Bolton and his baptism took place on December 11th, 1774 at Bank Street Unitarian.¹

John's father was Smalshaw (Smasho) Lomax and his mother was Esther Smith. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Jeffrey, William, Thomas, Anne, Alice, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 17 in February 1792 in Bolton. He was buried on February 2nd, 1792 at St. Peter's (Bolton).²
