Robert Lewis

Robert was born in 1803 in Little Neston.¹

General Notes
- Robert was the illegitimate son of Catherine Lewis, baptised 20 Jan 1805.
  
  In 1825, Robert married Catherine Dunkan at Chester.
  
  In 1841, Robert and Catherine (both 37) were at Little Neston with Thomas, Joseph, Mary and Ellen (13, 12, 11 & 7). Also present was William Duncan. Another two Duncan families were neighbours, probably Catherin's brother, parents and other siblings (tbc).

Occupation Details
- From 1841 Robert's occupation was Coal Miner in Little Neston.
  
  From 1851 his occupation was Fisherman in Ness.
