Hannah, known as Anna, was born in Tottington.  Anna's father was John Knowles and her mother was Hannah (Annah) Lomax. She had three brothers and five sisters, named James, Andrew, John, Jane, Hannah, Sally, Mary and Mally.  She died in August 1776 in Tottington.  She was buried on August 4th, 1776 at St. Anne (Turton).1
