Peter Kay

Peter was born in 1815 in Walmersley and his baptism took place on July 2nd, 1815 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹²

  Note: There was also a Robert, son of James and Betty Kay, baptised 24 Sep 1815 at St Ann, Turton, son of a Farmer from Edgworth. There are several James and Betty Kay families.

Peter's father was James Kay and his mother was Betty Moband (tbc). He had a brother and a sister, named William and Sarah. He was the oldest of the three known children.
