Betty was born in 1777 in Harwood.¹

  In Walmersley, N Bury in 1841, but husband Peter from Halliwell and Married in Deane and lived in Walmsley (not Walmersley) when Peter was baptised.

She died after 1851.

  Betty was alive in 1841, aged 64 at Burrs, Walmersley with her sons Peter (25) and William (22) and dau-in-law Mary (21) with Betty (1) and Mary (3 mo).
  
  In 1841, William Kay married Mary Nash (nee Barlow) at Manchester Carthederal.
  
  In 1851, Betty (75) was still at Burrs, Walmersley (Holcombe) with William and Mary (32 & 31) and Betty (12), Mary (10), and 4 more grandchildren
