Ellen Isherwood

Ellen was born on June 28th, 1829 in Over Darwen and her baptism took place on July 28th, 1829 in Blackburn.¹

Ellen's father was Ralph Isherwood and her mother was Mary (Molly) Waddicar. She had three brothers and a sister, named Ralph, James, Christopher and Mary. She was the third oldest of the five known children. She died as an infant at 10 months old in April 1830 in Entwistle. Her burial was on April 20th, 1830 at St. Anne (Turton).²
