Henry's father was Joseph Hill and his mother was Mary Walton. He had four sisters named Mary, Sarah, Hannah and Lucy.  He was the youngest of the five children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named William, Hartley, James, John, Thomas and Betty.
