Maria was born in 1831 in Ingelfingen and her christening took place there on January 9th, 1831.¹

Maria's father was Jacob Friedrich Heinz and her mother was Margaretha Catherina Wetterroth. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Jacob, George , Carl, Susanna, Susanna, Johanna, Elizabetha, Johanna and Susana.  She was the oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 47 on June 21st, 1878 in Germany.¹
