- WRIGHT:
  The only son of JAMES and ALICE
  MATHER, who died April 12th 1863 (or 1868),
  Only 21 years.
  Also the above ALICE MATHER,
  who died August 30th 1868, aged 66 years.
  “Thy will be done”
  Also the above JAMES MATHER
  who died April 9th 1871,
  In the 70th Year of his age.
  Also MARY, daughter of the above
  Who died 30th Aug 1896, aged 57 years
  Also ELIZABETH, daughter of the above
  Who died 21st Dec 1896 aged 63 years.

Alice was born in 1802 in Chorley.¹

Birth Notes
- An order dated Nov 1826 shows Alice was from Chorley.
  
  Headstone appears to show Alice aged 66 (but difficult ro read)

She died at the age of 66 on August 30th, 1868 in Bolton. Her burial was in 1868 at Tonge-with-Haulgh Cemetery.²²

- Died before 1871 as James was a widow
