Jonathan Hamer

Jonathan was born about 1820 in Halliwell.¹ Jonathan is no longer alive.

General Notes
- In 1841, Jonathan Hamer, a Chair Maker, son of Thomas Hamer, a Shop Keeper, married Sarah Grove Mather, daughter of John Mather, both from Halliwell.
  
  Jonathan's mother may have been Margaret Hamer, who was a Shop Keeper (aged 50) at Great Moor Street in 1841. His father may have been the Thomas Hamer (50 in 1841), a Shop Keeper at Black Horse Street.
  
  NOTE: There was also Thomas and Isabell Hamer (35 & 30) Green Grocer at Church Gate, Bolton in 1841. They are too young to be Jonathan's parents.

- From 1841 Jonathan's occupation was Chair Maker in Halliwell.
