Edward was born in 1817 in Wakefield.1   Edward's father was William Hall and his mother was Sarah Liversidge. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, David, Elizabeth, Hannah and Sarah.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 73 in 1890.



Edward's family with Mildred (Amelia) Stillings

‌Edward and Amelia were married in a religious ceremony on July 5th, 1848 in Normanton.2   They had a son named Sarah Ann.  There are possibly more children.
