Elizabeth (Betty) Grundy

Elizabeth, known as Betty, was born in 1827 in Bolton and her christening took place on June 1st, 1828 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Betty's father was Thomas Grundy and her mother was Mary Mather (tbc).  Her paternal grandparents were John Grundy and <unknown>. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Sarah and Mary.  She was the youngest of the five children.
