John James Gilmore

John was born on March 18th, 1851 in Prestwich and his baptism took place on February 29th, 1852 at Manchester Cathedral.¹

John's father was Thomas Gillmore and his mother was Jane C Howarth. His maternal grandparents were William Howarth and Lydia Whitehead. He had two brothers named Thomas and William. He was the second oldest of the three known children. He died at the age of 63 on May 25th, 1914 in Lancashire.

General Notes
- In 1851, John was not with the family. Thomas and Jane C Gillmore (27 & 21) were at Cheetham, Manchester with Thomas and William J (1mo). However, William wasnt born till 1852, so it appears they cnahged their mind and William J became John James.
  
  30 May 1904, John married Louisa Blanch Blake.
