John Foulds

John was born in 1832 in Keighley.¹

  Born 1832 on 1851 census.
  Born 1828 on 1861 census.
  Born 1827 on 1871 census, claiming himself older than he actually was.
  Born 1827 on 1881 census

John's father was John Foulds and his mother was Hannah Robinson.  His paternal grandparents were John Foulds and Martha Taylor. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, William, Thomas, Isreal, Jeremiah, Robinson, Mary and Sarah.  He was the third oldest of the nine known children.  He died at the age of 48 in March 1880 in Keighley.² 

• Death Notes

  John Foulds may have died about 1875 (three John Foulds died that year in West Riding), but 1880 looks a better match, as recorded in Keighley.

‌John and Elizabeth were married on May 31st, 1857 in Bingley.⁶   They had a son and two daughters, named Abraham, Elizabeth and Jane.
