Marjorie was born on January 1st, 1921 in Chorlton (Lancs).1  Marjorie's father was Harry Fletcher and her mother was Harriet (Hattie) Mather.  Her maternal grandparents were James Mather and Harriet Hill. She had two sisters named Olivia and Audrey.  She was the second oldest of the three children.



Marjorie's family with Alfred E Broadley

‌Marjorie and Alfred were married in a religious ceremony in March 1940 in Manchester.2   The family line is yet to be completed.
