Lela was born on August 9th, 1917 in Millard.¹ Lela's father was Albert Hyrum Fisher and her mother was Alta Jane Beckstrand. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Conrad Beckstrand and Emmaline Bennett. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Albert, Gerry, Carol, Wanda and Beulah. She died at the age of 2 on March 10th, 1920 in Millard.¹
