Albert's father was Albert Hyrum Fisher and his mother was Alta Jane Beckstrand. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Conrad Beckstrand and Emmaline Bennett. He had a brother and four sisters, named Gerry, Lela, Carol, Wanda and Beulah. He died at the age of 78 on July 14th, 2004.
