Hannah was born in 1892 in Bolton.1   Hannah's father was Robert Fielding and her mother was Jane Hannah Russell. She had two sisters named Harriet and Adaline.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Richard and Annie.
