William August Dittmer

William was born in 1860.  William's father was Johann Peter Dittmer and his mother was Anna Dorothea Heitmann.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Peter Dittmer and Anna Magdalena Schmalfeldt. He had two sisters named Marie and Katharine.  He was the oldest of the three children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Peter and Katharina.  He died at the age of 14 on June 14th, 1874.
