Hannah, known as Ann, was born in 1848 in Lindley.1  Ann's father was Ard Crosland and her mother was Charlotte Iredale.  Her paternal grandparents were John Crosland and Mary Wilkinson. She had a brother named John.  She was the older of the two known children.
