George was born in 1787 in Lindley. George's father was James Crosland and his mother was Mary Dixon. He had two brothers named John and Benjamin.  He was the youngest of the three known children.  He died at the age of 65 on August 31st, 1852 in Lindley.  He was buried on August 31st, 1852 in Lindley.1 



George's family with Sally Wilson

‌George and Sally were married in a religious ceremony on December 29th, 1812 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).2   The family line is yet to be completed.
