William Henry Chadwick

William was born in December 1859 in Bakewell.¹

William's father was Henry Chadwick and his mother was Frances Matkin. His paternal grandparents were Robert Chadwick and Betty (Elizabeth) Mather. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George, Charles, Sarah, Leah and Annie. He was the third oldest of the six children.
