Mary Carr

Mary was born in 1811 in Bolton.¹

Birth Notes
- Both 1841, and 1851, Mary and Robert are the same age, so Mary probably born about 1812.
  
  Married in 1834 so assumed be over 17, born before 1817.
  25 in 1841 (rounded, so born about 1816 to 1820
  28 in 1851 (should be 38 ?)
  33 in 1858 (when died)

She died at the age of 40 in 1851 in Bury.²

Death Notes
- Mary must have died between Q4 1851 (when Elizabeth born) and 1861 census when children are with other family members.
  
  If born soon before 1817, then most likely the Sharples death.
  
  LancashireBMD shows age at death and has few possible deaths for Mary Mather in Sharples (i.e. registered Bolton or Bury):
  1) 1851, South Bury, aged 40
  2) 1857, East Bolton, aged 53
  3) 1858, Sharples, aged 33
  4) 1858, East Bolton, aged 48
  5) 1861, West Bolton, aged 55
  6) 1862, Little Bolton, aged 56

  There are 6 different MATHER marrying Mary in Bolton 1844 to 1851, so the Sharples death is quite likely another.

  In 1851, Mary was 28 and in when she died in 1858 she was 33, so born about 1824. This cant be correct if she married in 1834
