Emma Brook

Emma was born on March 23rd, 1818 in Kirkheaton and her baptism took place on October 4th, 1818 in Westgate Chapel (Wesleyan) conducted by John Hanwell.¹

Birth Notes
- Emma the daughter of Samuel brook of Dalton-green in the parish of Kirkheaton in the County of York, Weaver and Sarah his wife, who was the daughter of George and Lucy Heaton was born 23-Mar-1818.
  And was solomonly baptised with water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Ghost on the 4-Oct-1818 by me John Hanwell.
  Registered under the direction of Daniel Walton.

Emma's father was Samuel Brook and her mother was Sarah Heaton. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, William, Samuel, Henry and Mary. She was the third oldest of the six known children.
