Nancy may have had a son Janes about one year before she died. James, son of Nancy Mather of G.B. was buried 29 Dec 1822, aged 8 months.
Nancy Mather (1800-1822) was originally thought to be the daugher of Richard Mather and Hannah Knowles. However once it was realised that Nathaniel is also from Harwood and their oldest son, then Nancy is clearly his first wife.
Nathaniel and Nancy had a son John in Nov 1822, but Nancy died during or soon after giving birth. John died 9 months later. They are buried together at Bradshaw Chapel.
