James Booth

James was born on July 2nd, 1763 in Breightmet and his baptism took place on July 8th, 1763 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

James' father was Thomas Booth and his mother was Catherine (Kat) Holt. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Henry, William, Isaac, Catherine and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 in August 1834 in Harwood. His burial was on September 2nd, 1834 in Ainsworth.²
