(Mary) was born in 1877 in Tranmere.1   (Mary)'s father was Augustus Henry Bayley and her mother was Mary Bunnell.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Bayley and Mary Davies. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Harry, Thomas, Ada, Mary and Ethel.  She was the oldest of the six children.

‌(Mary) and Thomas were married in a civil ceremony in September 1894 in Birkenhead.2  They had three sons named William, Agustus and Harry.  There are possibly more children.
