Reed was born on April 5th, 1904 in Utah (UT).1  Reed's father was Evan (Irvin) Bennett Arthur and his mother was Azalea Elizabeth Evans.  His paternal grandparents were Edward James Arthur and Catherine Bennett. He had two brothers and a sister, named Evan, Allen and Catherine.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-sister named Maxine.  He died at the age of 89 on January 12th, 1994 in Idaho (ID).  He was buried on January 15th, 1994.1 



Reed's family with Laura Mae Easton

‌Reed and Laura were married in a religious ceremony in 1939 in Idaho (ID).  They had a son and a daughter, named Jerold and Joyce.  There are no more children.
