Marie was born in 1653 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Qc.  Marie's father was René Pierre Letartre and her mother was Louise Anne Goulet.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Goulet and Marie Chalumel. She had a brother and two sisters, named Charles, Anne and Élisabeth.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died at the age of 63 on December 21st, 1716 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Qc.
