Margaret was born in 1746.  Margaret's father was Thomas Usher and her mother is Jane Bigwood.  Her paternal grandparents are James Usher and Mary Cockell. She had four brothers and a sister, named Henry, John, Thomas, Jonas/Jonah and Mary.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 65 in 1811.
